How trade cloning works on FXCloning

Four steps from sign up to your first cloned trade. Nothing trades until you confirm.

  1. Pick a Prototyper.Compare approved Prototypers by track record, drawdown, risk level and the markets they trade.
  2. Connect your MT5 account.Let us host MetaTrader for you, or run our Executor yourself so your trading password never leaves your computer. Balances are read live from your broker.
  3. Buy Lot Credits.One credit covers one lot of cloned opening trades. Closing trades is always free.
  4. Confirm Start Cloning.Trades replicate in proportion to your balance. Paying for credits never starts trading by itself; pause or stop at any time.

Lot Credits pay for the FXCloning service. Purchased credits are added to your FXCloning account and used only for successfully opened cloned trades, based on billable lot volume. No additional credits are charged for closing trades. Your trading capital stays with your broker.

Gold example: 1 Lot Credit covers 100 oz of cloned opening volume. With a 100 oz-per-lot contract, a 0.01-lot opening uses 0.01 credit.

Purchase and refund conditions
  • Credits do not expire, and they are not trading funds or margin (Terms 11.1, 11.4).
  • You can cancel a purchase within 7 calendar days of receiving the credits if none of them has been used, transferred or reserved for an order (Terms 16.2).
  • Otherwise credits are not exchanged back for cash on request (Terms 11.2). Duplicate payments, wrong charges and charges without a fill are investigated and corrected (Terms 16.3).
  • Your broker's spreads, commissions and swaps are separate from credits (Terms 12.5). The invoice confirms the price before you pay.

How Prototypers are approved and measured

  • Approved means FXCloning connected the Prototyper's own trading account to our terminal and confirmed it is live at its broker. Figures come from that terminal, never from screenshots or typed numbers.
  • Return is the change in the Prototyper's equity since we started recording, with deposits and withdrawals taken out. Open trades P/L is equity minus balance right now.
  • Risk 1 to 5 is our trading team's rating when approving the Prototyper (1 lowest).
  • A figure we cannot verify is shown as "Not enough history" or "No data yet", and a terminal that stopped reporting is marked delayed.
  • Prototyper names are display names; a broker in a name does not mean FXCloning or the Prototyper is affiliated with that broker. Past results do not guarantee future results.
